I WAS ABLE TO PRINT IT OUT THIS TIME AND MADE COPIES TO GIVE TO MY MOTHER AND HER BROTHERS. I THOUGHT YOU MAY FIND OF INTEREST, THE REMARKS SHE MADE UPON HEARING OF THE SILHOUETTE. BEFORE I EVEN SHOWED IT TO HER, SHE TOLD ME THAT SHE HAD SEEN AND HAD ONCE POSSESSED A COPY OF THE "SILHOUETTE" OF JUDITH. SHE COMMENCED TO DESCRIBE IT TO ME RIGHT DOWN TO THE SHAPE OF THE HAT, THE FOREHEAD AND THE LITTLE BOW THAT WAS ON THE DRESS! NOW, SINCE YOU COMMENTED TO ME THAT YOU WERE NOT ENTIRELY SURE THAT THE SILHOUETTE WAS REALLY JUDITH ( I agree that it probably can never be confirmed), I THOUGHT THE FACT THAT THE SAME SILHOUETTE HAD CIRCULATED IN OUR BRANCHES OF THE HALL FAMILY AS WELL AS IN YOURS, SHOULD SHOW THAT THERE IS SOME VALIDITY TO THE ASSUMPTION AND BELIEF THAT IT IS WHO WE THINK IT IS- JUDITH. WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON THAT? THE SILHOUETTE THAT MY MOM HAD (SHE CAN NO LONGER FIND IT) WOULD HAVE COME TO HER, ONCE AGAIN, FROM JANICE DOBBIE OF MICHIGAN. THE ONLY DIFFERENCE IN THE SILHOUETTE THAT YOU SENT ME AND THE ONE MY MOTHER REMEMBERS, IS THAT HERS WAS JUST AN OUTLINE, IN OTHER WORDS, THE FACE AND SHOULDER WERE NOT FILLED IN BUT HAD BEEN TRACED ALONG THE OUTLINE OF THE FACE ETC., SO WAS DONE, PRESUMABLY, AT A TIME WHEN PHOTOCOPIERS WERE NOT SO PREVALENT.
