Martin and family lived in Jay for a while.

Jonathan Hanchett and Diantha Harmon were 3rd cousins. Their common ancestor is Anthony Austin. Jonathan's grandmother is a granddaughter of Anthony Austin--descended through his son, Anthony Jr. Esther Austin, a daughter of Anthony Sr.is the Great-Grandmother of Diantha. Ancestral File Records!

The IGI has marriage to Jonathan Hanchette as 1806 in Scranton, Erie, PA. Scranton is in Lackawanna county, PA. In a way, this does not make sense, as:
The 1810 Census has the family living in Essex Co., NY with one son and one daughter under 10. The Harmon Genealogy says they had four children, but evidence has been found for only two.
