Nehemiah "Myar or Mire" PERRY³⁷²⁷ was born on 3 March 1844 in ,Morgan , Indiana. He died on 6 February 1912 at the age of 67 in Dow,Pittsburg,Oklahoma. Nehemiah was aslo known as Mire or Myar as a nickname. He was a farmer and laborer. He was a soldier in the union army as a private. He served under a General (Pop) Thomas and a Captain Ludy in Missouri. He served in the 45th regiment Infantry Volenteers Company G and was reassigned to the 48th regiment on 3 Sep. 1864 in Linncreek Missouri. He was mustered in at Sadalia,MO and mustered out in Benton,MO. on 29 Jun. 1865. Before the Civil War at the age of 16 he volenteered in Company A of the Osage Home Guards and served from 5Aug.1861 to 6 Dec.1861. He recieved and claimed a pension #423872. As a boy his family moved to Osage township,Camdon,MO. After 1890 he moved with his adult family (James) to Indian Territory,OK where he died. He was buried in Krebs,Pittsburg,OK. He married Mahala Walden first and had James and Benjamin. Six years later he married her sister Sarah and had Louis Oscar, Louisa and Maude Francis.
