BIOGRAPHY: Andrew received a quit-claim deed in 1776 from his siblings of property in Palmer, Hampden, MA owned by his deceased father for the sum of six-dollars.

POSSIBILITIES: In 1800, An Andrew McNutt is in Otsego County, NY p. 21. He is too young to be ours, but could be a son. He is 16-26. In 1810, there is an Andrew McNutt in Ontario Co, NY p. 112. He is 16-26--again too young, but could be a son. There is an Andrew McNutt again in Montgomery Co, NY in 1810 who is 45+ with a large family and wife only 26-45. Our wife would have been 58.

POSSIBILITIES: In 1820, in Townsend, Sandusky, Oh p. 167 is an Andrew McNutt and another one
is in Spencer Co., IN p. 88. I have not read these.

POSSIBILITIES: In Ashtabula, Ashtabula Co., Ohio--near Anan Harmon Rin 4129--is this from Pioneer Women of the Western Reserve: pg. 630 "Mrs. John C. McNutt, Lucy Ann Tinker, born in 1811, came here in 1838.
The next morning after their arrival, having no meat for breakfast, her husband took his gun and standing in their doorway, shot a deer."

POSSIBILITIES: James Strang, who led a splinter group from the Mormons, married a Betsy McNutt
as one of his many wives. Any connection?

POSSIBILITIES: Pioneer Ohio Newspapers advertized letters left at post office on 18 Mar 1806 for Alexander McNutt. Again on 5 Oct 1807. On 6 Oct 1810, John McNutt has found a stray animal. Appraisers mentioned were Alexander McNutt; Alex McNutt, and John McNutt and Samuel Torrence. There was a letter at the Post office in Chillicothe on 8 Jan 1807 for James McNutt. Could these be children named after his brothers? Could they actually be his brothers or nephews?

POSSIBILITIES: On 25 Apr 1812, an Alexander McNutt was reported as a deserter by Lieut. James W. Bryson at New Port, Kentucky. Alexander was 32 and he lived near Colerain, Hamilton, OH. He was enlisted in Lieut. Ramsey's Rifle Regiment on 9 Mar 1812. [Any connection?]
