Albiano, shareholder in the Virginia Company, was among the first settlers in Elizabeth City County. On March 20,1618/19 he was given one share in the Company for himself and 1&1/2 shares for the three men he transported. Albiano was the second son of Peter Lupo, violinist to the royal court of England. He was born in 1579 in the parish of St. Botolph's without Aldgate.
